Welcome to the Summer of 2017!
Dear Park Shore Staff,
We are very excited about the beginning of the 2017 Camp Season and are very happy that you will be part of our TEAM. You will be joining some of the finest day camp staff on Long Island and we are confident that you will enjoy your summer.
Just a few reminders as we approach Park Shore 2017. All employees are required to attend all pre-camp Orientation Meetings that pertain to their position.
- Monday, June 5, 2017 (6:30 – 8:00pm) – Travel Camper Orientation – Super Senior, Explorer & Superteen Travel Staff only
- Wednesday, June 7, 2017 (6:00 – 9:00 pm) – New Staff Only
- Saturday, June 10, 2017 (8:00am – 2:00pm) – All Staff (includes all Travel Staff)
- Saturday, June 17, 2017 (8:00am – 2:00pm) – All Staff (includes all Travel Staff)
- Monday, June 19, 2017 (6:00 – 9:00pm) – All Group Leaders
On Saturday, June 10th, we will have our first All Staff Traditions II Orientation Meeting. ALL group leaders, counselors, junior counselors, and CITs must bring a bathing suit (females must wear a one piece bathing suit) as you will be going into the pool for an orientation on our swimming program. All staff must wear sneakers which are required when at Park Shore. On Saturday, June 17th, “All Staff” will participate in our Traditions III Orientation Program when you will learn about many important Park Shore Procedures. You will also receive a backpack along with 5 staff shirts that are to be worn everyday at camp.
A direct deposit form is below (if interested). A voided check or bank statement must accompany your signed Direct Deposit Form. Below is also a FunWear order form. If you would like to purchase any Park Shore clothing and receive it before camp begins, please bring your completed order form with payment in full (either check made out to Park Shore or exact cash) to your first orientation meeting.
