Virtual Park Shore
Continuing your child’s Park Shore preschool education from home.
“A great teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart.”
Dear Park Shore Families,
Welcome to the first week of Virtual Park Shore! We are missing our students and families terribly and are sending Virtual Hugs to all!
During these unprecedented times, it is very important to keep our children engaged in routines that they have grown accustomed to following. In an attempt to assist our families with activities for their children to enjoy and to continue their education, we have created Virtual Park Shore. Our teachers, along with the amazing help from Trisha Schlackman and Josie Budah, have created activities in an online weekly format.
Our teachers and specialists have been very busy at home this past week preparing lessons, activities, and videos to engage and educate our students while they are away from their Park Shore home. Creating virtual learning for preschool and kindergarten students has been challenging and very new for our teachers but they have risen to the occasion and we are very proud of what they have created for our students. We are all hopeful that our separation will be as short as possible and that we will be back together soon.
We will email new links to Virtual Park Shore weekly for as long as we are closed. We at Park Shore know how challenging this time is for you as parents. Our hearts are with our entire Park Shore community as we all navigate these uncertain times. But we also know how strong we all are as a community and that we will all get through this together as a team. And as a family. Please email me with any questions or concerns and I will call you back as soon as possible.
In addition to the Park Shore Virtual Classroom, parents can use a Google search or Pinterest when looking for additional activities for their children. We remain ready to assist all our families with activities and information that can be used to keep their children engaged and enjoy their time while home. We wish everyone the very best and look forward to our return to Park Shore.
Sincerely,
Dianne Vitucci
