Dear Parents,
As I write this newsletter, I am filled with many conflicting emotions. I am thrilled with the children’s efforts this year and I am very proud of their progress and growth. I think back to September and those early days of school and it is apparent how much the children have learned and grown. They are so much more confident and independent.
I am also excited and filled with great anticipation of their futures. I often wonder what each of their futures holds. And of course, I am filled with a sense of sadness. It’s time for them to move on and as happy as I am about their futures, I am sad to see them go. I hope you will come back to visit.
Over the summer, keep reading. The children should have a nice collection of books in their “Book Bags.” With continued reading practice, they will really be ready for reading groups in Kindergarten. The children are also phonetically writing on their own as well. They are more than ready for Kindergarten.
Miss Nikki, Miss Valerie, Miss Maxine and I would like to thank you for the opportunity to get to know your children. It has been a privilege having them in our class this year. Thank you for a truly wonderful school year.
