Super Seniors Weeks 1 & 2 News from Reid, Super Senior Director
How can the first two weeks of camp be over already? Next thing you know, commercials from Staples will be showing off their backpack and folder sales. But we still have a little more summer left in the Super Seniors. During week one, the campers showed off their arcade skills (and pizza eating) at Boomers and then took to the Frisbee and Turbulence at Adventureland. Week two displayed their fishing expertise on the Captree Star 3 and dodgeball knowledge at the Sports Arena. They remembered the 5 D’s of dodgeball: Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive, and of course Do everything to get Reid out of the game.
The staff and the campers have gotten along terrifically and the Super Seniors 2016 family has gelled. Weeks 3 and 4 promise to outdo the first two weeks as we travel to Splish Splash, Sky Zone, Cradle of Aviation, and then just chill at the beach. Please remember that Splish Splash will have a late pickup around 6 p.m. at the camp. Also, if you didn’t sign and return the waivers for Sky Zone, your little one may not be able to participate. Waivers are found at the Park Shore website. Finally, for the beach trip, it’s always a good idea to bring a beach towel for your campers.
