Dear Park Shore Parents and Campers,
IT’S FINALLY HERE!!! The week we’ve all been waiting for….COLOR WAR!!! Orange vs. Blue or in the case of 2017, Transformers VS Superheroes. It’s the ultimate in friendly competition, true sportsmanship and camp spirit.
This week is the Best of the Best! We have exciting field activities that promote team spirit, songs and cheers that are being created by our unbelievable Generals and Lieutenants, plaques are being made, and so much more! Our campers have been divided into two teams!! It is an awesome sight to see!! On Monday, August 7th we launch our three-day competition that we look forward to all summer long.
Monday, August 7th and Tuesday, August 8th is our Junior Division Late Nights. We welcome all Junior Division parents to watch as our campers show off their swimming skills at the pools and show us their talent on the stage and on the fields. Monday August 7th is Preschool Aqua Zumba and every division participates in our Mustache Monday. Tuesday, August 8th is Backwards Day. Wednesday, August 9th we have Spirit Day, so help your team by wearing your Color War Team color. We hope to see Orange and Blue Campers walking around camp in support of their team! Thursday, August 10th is Team Jersey Day and last but not least on Friday, August 11th, Park Shore will get to experience the Extreme Magic Of Eric. He is an award winning illusionist who performs explosive, cutting edge illusions. What a week this will be!!
