Spcae
Some of you may have heard about or even seen the SpaceX launch the other day. It was a Falcon 9 rocket with a Crew Dragon capsule carrying two NASA astronauts on top. The astronauts are Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley and their stuffed dinosaur friend, Tremor. The 3 will stay at the International Space Station for a few months. Did you know that you can see the ISS a few times a week in the sky? I am attaching the link that will help you see the ISS when it passes over on a clear night. We use the app at my house and often can see the Space Station. It looks like a bright star moving quickly through the sky – just imagine, there are astronauts working, sleeping and living on the Space Station!!!!
And here is the information on how to download the app that will help you see the actual ISS.
And finally go see how the astronauts live while on the space station.
While we are visiting Space don’t forget to check out the planets also. The Sun and Moon are the 2 brightest things in the sky – can you tell me what is the 3rd one is – use this app to see it.
Did you know you can grow your own edible crystals? Have a parent help with this one. It takes a while but the results are so very yummy!!
Adventureland
Adventureland is open but, with a twist – they will have Bingo, Dinner and a movie – all from the comfort of your own car. I am attaching the link to the page.
