Elephant Toothpaste Science Experiment
Materials:
- 2 Tablespoons warm water
- 1 teaspoon yeast
- Food Coloring
- Hydrogen Peroxide – Either 3% or 6%
- Dish Soap
- Empty Plastic Bottle
- Funnel

Materials:
- plastic cup with 3 holes near top
- String
- water

NASA Virtual Tours
Want to take a trip – try taking one of NASA’s virtual tours.
Make Your Own Moon Sand
Materials:
- Flour
- Vegetable oil
- Large bowls and trays
Show your child a picture of a footprint on the moon’s surface, and invite them to make their own moon sand! Have your child help measure and count eight cups of flour and one cup of vegetable oil together in a large bowl. Practice taking turns, counting, and mixing. Put the moon dust out into trays or a sensory bin for your child to play. Add toy astronauts and rockets for fun!
