Computers & Technology
Teaching children about technology through the use of computers, iPads, engineering projects and robotics is a perfect way to immerse them into this world. Developing an understanding of the use of technology at an early age enhances children’s future success in a world that is ever-changing. As we learn about 21st Century Skills we will begin to understand critical thinking, teamwork, creativity, and adaptability.
Hydroponics
The understanding of alternative ways of growing our food is an important lesson for the future of our boys and girls. Our all NEW hydroponic grow lab will enable all of our boys and girls to learn about this alternative way of growing our food with hands-on experiences. They will be able to experience how the water moves through the hydroponic system as they keep track of the plants they maintain.
Community Garden
Our students will begin their journey by planting seeds in the winter. As they watch them grow and nourish them we will plant them in our community garden in the spring. They will learn how to garden and take care of our plants and see how we can get food from a simple seed! Tomatoes, zucchini, string beans, and many more plants will enable our boys and girls to work together to create a productive garden.
Art Studio
Our new outdoor art studio will be used on a regular basis. All of our boys and girls will be able to create their own masterpieces on large easels while enjoying the out- of- doors.
