Hello Parents,
I can’t believe that it is already November!  The school year is flying by, but be assured the kids are having so much fun in music.  Our Halloween Sing-a-Long was a huge success! The kids loved being able to interact with the other classes of friends.  They especially loved it when I brought out my huge bubbling cauldron and all sang along to ‘Witches Brew’.

November brings a lot of different songs to our class.  We enjoy singing about our squirrels as they are busy collecting and hiding their acorns.  Our new friend, Albuquerque the Turkey, has also come into our classroom and we are learning a funny song about him.  November also has us beginning explore many different rhythms as we talk about our Native American friends.  We always end our class with our favorite song about November!

We are still learning lots of new words in sign language, and I am so proud of each and every one of them.  Their confidence when signing is such an amazing thing to see.  I hope they come home and show you all the signs.  So far, this month, we have added turkey, feather, imagination, squirrel, acorn, cat, dog, and proud to our ever expanding dictionary of signs.

Happy signing and singing,

Miss Taneisha
