Dear Park Shore Parents,
Welcome Home! We are so thrilled with the excitement and fun all of our campers had this week. It was an incredible feeling seeing our campers and team members at the very first arrival of the summer. As the music played, we witnessed a tremendous amount of energy flowing through the camp beginning with the arrival of the very first bus. We all instantly reunited with past Park Shore friends and welcomed new campers as the summer of 2017 officially started. We certainly didn’t waste any time jumping right back into the swing of things!
This week we started off wearing our big smiles as we took all our Camp pictures, had a visit from Chip Bryant, The Silent Clown and ended the week with our first Fear Factor Friday Lunch where we had counselors eating Mexican Spiced Worm Snacks and Sour Cream & Onion Crickettes!
As we enter into Week 2, the Theme is “Saddles & Sunshine,” so be prepared for a lot of fun-filled events. Monday, July 3rd, please have your children wear Red White & Blue so that we can celebrate America in Park Shore fashion. Tuesday, July 4th, Park Shore will be closed but we will reopen Wednesday, July 5th with our Hoe Down at the Park Shore Corral. Make sure your child is dressed for our fun Western Day! Thursday, July 6th will be a fun day for our Preschool & Junior campers with our Wild Zoo Animal Races. Friday is an action packed day where we will be invited to participate in a super soaker shootout and will be visited by Tony The Pony and all his Barnyard Buddies, as well as enjoy the Grand Opening of our Snack Shack, so get ready for some yummy treats.
I hope you all enjoyed a terrific first week at Park Shore and remember the fun has only just begun!
